Fracture Surgery Overview
Fracture surgery allows stabilization hardware such as rods, plates, screws or grafts to be placed around or within the broken bone to help it heal and to make sure adequate function is restored. A fracture surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia by an orthopedic surgeon.
